Music that speaks such sweet sorrow.

How is it that an instrument has such great power. I have been feeling down on myself lately. And now that I am listening to Cellist its as though the darkness that prospers so greatly in the strings of the Cello mends my downtrodden heart.  As I listened to the Cello sing darkness from the strings I started to write a poem. It's a romantic poem.

I call this poem  Cello Love

Oh Cello How I adore your sleek and smooth exterior
The way you sing with such sorrow makes love to my ears
I want to bathe in the darkness of your strings
and kiss your mellow lips
and when the bow glides across your body
with such patience and ease
your voice soothes my aching heart
If only for a  moment your voice touches
my soul and caresses it
and though we may not touch everday
you still remain an important part of my life
