Mistakes A'Plenty

In this life we make all kinds of mistakes. I happen to make a boat load of them. But I try not to let those mistakes shoot me down. Rather, I let them raise me up. I learn from them, I in a strange way try to make mistakes on purpose, so I can analyze what I've done wrong. The weird thing about mistakes though is that lots of things like Corn Flakes and Mircowaves were made by mistake.

The reason for writing this blog though is  I've made a pretty big mistake myself. I am almost done with my certificate and I thought I was done this semester. However, I was reading over the classes that I had to take(just to make sure) and low and behold there it was plain as the hair on your head, the words MEDIA ARTS 101 spoke to me and told me that I HAD to take it in order to get that damn certificate. So yes I have learned from this mistake. Hell i am looking forward to taking another semester plus I get a camera for this class so yeah that should be extra fun.

Mistakes A'Plenty

In this life mistakes ride shot gun
as we ride down the two lane highway
Mistakes grab us and choke us till
we are dying half to death
because we are pleading
for forgiveness from the mistake
The Youth hold mistakes in their hands
like grenades  and throw them
into crowds of unwilling participants  
I am one of those youth
and I feel as though I am Dante
in one of the layers of hell
where mistakes torture me and
eat away at my existence.
But that's just the way it is
