Busy weekend

I've had a pretty busy weekend. Done some casino going. Today, I went to a picnic and it was freaking sweltering hot. Everybody was pretty much dying from the heat. ANNNNNNNNNND I wrote a poem about it. I rarely do those "event" poems. But I am still working on it trying to make it sound fun and exciting. Never was one of those write about event type poets but I thought i'd give myself a chance. Maybe I can get better at it.
