Experimental Blog Today!

I guess blogs are just meant to be another form of poetry if you think about it. They are just people expressing their deepest feelings. I am still getting used to this kind of deal. I started to this blog to help promote the idea of poetry. So far things are really slow and that's okay. I am willing to take things slow... I've been searching for other poetry blogs to read and see how others are writing. So yeah that was just a random thought that came into my head when i was trying to think of a topic for a blog.

New topic:

I suppose this could be a mutlitopic blog. So another topic idea that was suggested by a great friend of mine is the lonely poems. There are many lonely poems out there. Waiting for you to read them. *cue sad Sarah McLaughlin music here* There are in libraries and in bookstores and on the internet. They need homes.

Another new topic:

Publishing is fucking hard! (that is all) Actually this is a bit of an experimental blog for me having all these topics. It kinda makes me seem like i have ADD or something.

Poem:

The Melancholy Spectator

Smiles like rubber

Bend

Lips in salt

I wish it were I tasting smiles

Instead I,

the melancholy spectator

Watches and only hopes

To achieve the taste of a smile

Such as that I

The melancholy spectator

Place my heart on the throne

Of bliss

The crowd full of smiles

Like waves

And I

The melancholy spectator

Engulfed feel no different

No blood has been

Drawn from my veins

I feel as though my heart

Has become an anchor

I the melancholy spectator

Have taken the final straw
